Shaping our Neighbourhood together
General Information
The Localism Act of 2011 allowed for the formation of neighbourhood forums to “further the social, economic and environmental well-being of individuals in a neighbourhood area”. Together, we are part of a powerful community which can put people at the centre of changes and development in our local designated area – the Sudbury Town Neighbourhood Area.
As a statutory Forum, Brent Council is obligated to consult with us when planning applications are submitted for our Neighbourhood Area. Additional details about a Neighbourhood Forum’s regulatory requirements are available here. As members we can actively contribute to shaping the development of our Neighbourhood Area in a cohesive and sustainable manner, fostering infrastructure links, promoting social
and community well-being, and safeguarding our precious open green spaces.
All members have a role to play and, by completing this form, you can be involved in the Sudbury Town Neighbourhood Forum.
Our Constitution sets out how we will deliver our statutory obligations effectively, and that Committee business is conducted in a professional and respectful manner.
We invite and encourage active participation from all members, as your perspective and involvement are crucial for the improvement of our community.
